Quatro fases da dieta após bariátrica
Após passar pela cirurgia bariátrica o paciente precisa fazer uma dieta de quatro fases, durante a recuperação da operação e adaptação do organismo às alterações da bariátrica.
- Primeira fase: a dieta líquida é constituída de pequenos volumes – em torno de 50 ml por refeição a cada 30 minutos – e tem como principal objetivo o repouso gástrico, a adaptação a pequenos volumes de alimentos e a hidratação. Pode durar entre 2 e 4 semanas.
- Segunda fase: o paciente tem liberação para comer alimentos na consistência de cremes e purês. Entre os principais objetivos está a transição para a dieta branda, além de manter o repouso gástrico. A duração média é de 7 a 10 dias.
- Terceira fase: o bariátrico pode comer alimentos cozidos, com muita atenção à mastigação. A seleção de alimentos, que deve ser orientada por nutricionista, é extremamente importante pois a quantidade de comida ingerida continua pequena, então deve-se priorizar os alimentos mais nutritivos, escolhendo fontes de proteínas e ferro.
- Quarta fase: trata-se da mudança para uma consistência ideal para uma nutrição satisfatória deve acontecer gradualmente e, geralmente, começa a partir do 1º mês após a cirurgia.
